Mesh importer
This package allows to convert a Comsol-based mesh from file.mphtxt to a format suitable for AceFEM, expressed in terms of nodes and connectivity lists.
The main script is meshConversion.py and it is located in the mesh-importer_v2 directory.
In addition it allows also to automatically tag top, bottom, internal (lumen) and external surfaces (useful for boundary conditions).
The meshConversion.py can be exectued autonomously (autmatically launch the GUI) or can be imported as a module in a Python script. It save the mesh in the .h5 format, separated the information in several datasets.
For an O2 type of mesh it contains the following subsets:
/nodes, lists of the nodes positionsElements_L2, connectivity list of the quadratic edges/Elements_O2, connectiivty of the quadratic tetrahedra/Elements_T2, connectivity of the quadratic triangles (surfaces)/Elements_Vertex, vertex connectivity/ID_L2, integer tag of the L2 elements/ID_O2, integer tag of the O2 elements/ID_T2, integer tag of the T2 elements/ID_Vertex, integer tag for the vertex
Usage
Launch the batch command:
python meshConversion.py /path/to/mesh.mphtxt path/to/output/folder
